On November 29, 2000 the Centre for e-Business (CeB) was added as the latest wing of IMS, with the sole purpose of developing courses and programmes related to the field of Information Technology which would cater to the fast growing demands of business environment.
There are two programmes, offered by the Centre for e-Business professionally designed to cope up with the global challenges offered by the dynamic environment in the area of e-commerce. The BBA (e-Commerce) is a three-year full time programme dedicated to provide the candidates a firm foundation and to equip them with all the skills and knowledge requirements for the different facets of e-commerce. The successful completion of this course leads to a two-year MBA (eC) degree.
The MBA (e-Commerce) is a two-year full time programme introduced in synchronization with the changing IT scenario. The programme aims at equipping the candidates with different aspects of e-commerce application. The programme with a three year component graduation, coupled with a two year post graduation is aimed at comprehensive coverage of various aspects of Information Technology and Management to build up an ideal fusion of 'techno-managers'.
